My new favorite accessory is a bright colored purse to go with a neutral outfit. I was inspired by a very close friend who has a new bright blue bag that makes any outfit she wears, look summery! It's perfect! Not everyone is always in the mood to wear bright colored summer clothes (I know I'm not) but with a pink, green, blue, yellow or even orange bag, you can wear anything and look perfect for the season! Plus it's very simple yet fun! You take a purse with you everywhere, right? Well why not take one that brightens up your everyday activities?!

Walt Disney Pictures "Prom"
Posted by Sarah Alaina, feature, Movie 3:38 PM
In Hollywood, California the movie premiere of "Prom" was held at the El Capitan Theatre on Thursday night. It was a star-studded affair that hit the red carpet.
The movie "Prom" is about a group of teenagers that find their lives intersecting and their futures taking shape as they prepare for the most pivotal event of their high school careers. At first Nova Prescott (Aimee Teegarden) is infuriated at a classmate who nearly destroys her plans for prom. But the closer the big day gets, the more she realizes that he may be the perfect date. Meanwhile, secretive seniors Tyler (DeVaughn Nixon) and Mei (Yin Chang) wrestle with the consciences over how to make the most of their big night as the rest of their classmates attempt to reconcile their explosive anticipation with their growing uncertainty over how the dance will ultimately pan out.
"The movie will be a lighthearted story, complete with standard high school character archetypes of geeks, preps and jocks," said Joe Nussbaum, Director of Prom. "I wanted to capture the intensity of emotion that comes from one of the most memorable or notorious nights in adolescent life."
"Prom" will appear in theatres April 29th.

Karina Smirnoff Slips On Partner Ralph Macchio's Costume!
Posted by Sarah Alaina, feature, Reality TV, TV 3:32 PMProfessional dancer Karina Smirnoff took a spill that brought partner Ralph Macchio down with her. This incident was more a wardrobe malfunction than a dancing error, but Macchio quickly picked Smirnoff up to get her back on track and they regained their composure. Though this mishap occured, it brought more fire and attitude to Smirnoff's routine.
"Mr. Miyagi would be very proud of you for getting right back up and right into the dance," Carrie Ann Inaba said.
"I'm not gonna castigate you," Len Goodman told the pair. "I'm gonna congratulate you."
Ultimately, they rebounded enough to score 24 points, which kept them from being up for elimination, but it is up to their fans at home to continuously vote to keep them on the show.
Check them out Mondays at 8PM ET on ABC.

Spring is here! {Tips on how you can make the most of the new season}
Posted by Sarah feature, Shelby 3:28 PMI think Spring is a great time for setting new goals and just trying new things. It's a time for re-inventing yourself! Spring signifies that Winter is out, and that brighter times are ahead, and that's exactly what it should say about your life too.
Here are a few ideas to get out of old habits, and get out of that rut:
- See a movie you might not usually want to. You might be surprised!
- Do a little spring cleaning. Out with the old, in with the new!
- Add a few new items to your closet, or try out a few new looks from a favorite celebrity, or something you liked in a magazine.
- Talk to new people that you see at the work place or school, and tend to just bypass. Everyone has a story, and you never know when you could be missing out on a really great friend.
- Set new goals like :Work out a couple times a week, eat healthier, etc. And reward yourself with a little treat when you accomplish something!
- Throw a small party or get together, and just enjoy being with friends and family.

Sunday morning {breakfast in bed type of movie day}
Posted by Sarah feature, Hailey, Movie 6:00 AMSunday mornings should be relaxing if at all possible. No work? No school? Just take it easy! I recently had the chance to experience what I call a "perfect morning". I'm a big fan of old black and white movies, but my all time favorite is "Breakfast at Tiffany's". Not only is it my top "go to" girly girl movie, but it's now my top "go to" breakfast in bed movie. Because this was such a wonderful breakfast and a movie experience for me, I wanted to share it with all of you girls out there who love a good black and white movie as well. Just pour yourself a cup of hot coffee and grab a muffin (or whatever you prefer) and pop in the fabulous Audrey Hepburn movie for yourself. Lay back and ignore the world for a few hours! Believe me you'll love it & I know you need it!

Your Style Icon {Tell Us Who Yours Is}
Posted by Sarah Fashion, feature, Hailey 4:09 PM
Who is your style icon? You know that one celebrity that you look up to because of his/her amazing style, perfectly tousled hair or shining personality. We all have them & admire them, even if we don't always want to admit it. There are many different fashionistas in the world such as; Gwen Stafani, Rachel Zoe, Jennifer Lopez, Jessica Simpson, and so many others that I can't name because the list would never end. So, who is it? Well, I'll tell you mine, if you tell me yours! The style icon at the top of my list, is... the always classy Lauren Conrad. From her simple skinny jeans and oversized sunglasses to her Chanel purse and floral dresses, I love it all. My reason; she can take a simple t-shirt and make it a new trend and she never looks under-dressed or overdone. Okay, now tell me who your ultimate style icon is and why you look up to him or her! I'm dying to know who it is!

Anticipated Film 'The Dark Knight Rises' Adds To Cast
Posted by Sarah Dominique, feature, Movie 4:07 PM
This week, “The Dark Knight Rises,” director Christopher Nolan’s third Batman installment, has released two familiar names as members of the official cast, MTV reports. Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Marion Cotillard have joined the cast in the company of Diego Klattenhoff, Juno Temple, Anne Hathaway and other “Inception” alum Tom Hardy. Gordon will be playing the role of John Blake, a Gotham city police officer, and Cotillard will assume the character of Miranda Tate, a member of Bruce Wayne’s board.
It’s no surprise that Nolan would choose actors he has previously worked with, like Christian Bale who he gave a starring role in The Prestige (2006) opposite Hugh Jackman.
Nolan spoke highly of the new additions, saying "When you collaborate with people as talented as Marion and Joe, it comes as no surprise that you would want to repeat the experience. I immediately thought of them for the roles of Miranda and Blake, and I am looking forward to working with both of them again."

Reese kisses and tells!
Posted by Sarah Dominique, feature, Movies 3:39 PM“The Water For Elephants” actress recently sat down with MTV to calm curiosity over her experience kissing Twilight heartthrob Robert Pattison. The results are in, but apparently it wasn’t Reese’s favorite. But don’t fret, RPatz fans, Robert was battling a cold while filming the love scene with his leading lady.
During his interview with MTV, Pattison gave the gloomy details. "My nose is running all over the place, and it was in one of the additional photography scenes, and Reese had this wig on, and literally, I was wiping my nose on her wig," Pattison said.
Newlywed Reese recollected shooting the scene in her own interview saying "He did have a very runny nose, yeah," and when describing what seems like a beautiful on-screen moment Reese added "It wasn't appealing; it wasn't pleasant.”
“Water For Elephants
” comes out this weekend, Friday, April 22nd.

Posted by Sarah feature, Movies, Shelby 1:01 PMPredictable, cheesy, and unrealistic 99.9% of the time, right? So, why do we continue to watch them? Probably, because even if a lot of the events that take place in such movies never happen, at least we get to live out that daydream for about 90 minutes! Chick flicks have always been my favorite genre of movie, because they're an escape. Most of the time, as a girl, it's what I dream about...finding that "one" person while randomly walking into Starbucks or not being able to stand a certain person, only to find that I'm really in love with him. I think the little girl in all of us comes out while watching these movies. We want to be treated like princesses and have all of our dreams come true, even if it means living through the leading lady of the film. I have to admit though, as I continue to watch them, the more I wonder 'is it possible to fall in love like that?', 'can something like that really happen?', and 'will I ever find it?' The real reason I keep watching them....Because I DO believe things like that can happen in our every day world, and they're just too good to quit watching!
My Top 10 Chick Flicks of all time (in no particular order really):
- The Proposal
- When In Rome
- Titanic
- A Walk To Remember
- 13 Going On 30
- 27 Dresses
- Sweet Home Alabama
- Runaway Bride
- While You Were Sleeping
- Valentines Day
I'm sure this list will continue to grow as more come out in the years to come ;). What are some of your favorite Chick Flicks/Romantic Comedies?

Leah Messer & Corey Simms: Divorce papers, tears, and another female to blame for the split?
Posted by Sarah Colleen, feature, Teen Mom 2, TV 4:00 PMOnly two weeks ago on the Teen Mom 2 finale we saw bright eyed Leah Messer walk down the aisle and marry her baby daddy Corey Simms. Well, bright and early today I got a text message from E! News (yes, I receive the latest breaking news via text message) saying that Leah has filed for divorce after only six months of living the married life. Speculation began when two of the major tabloids both published stories about the two heading towards splitsville. Until today nothing had been 100% confirmed, but sadly the rumors are looking to be true and the parents of Aleeah and Aliannah are in fact parting ways.
If a crying Leah who is reading a sketchy looking conversation between her hubby and some home-wrecking skank isn’t proof enough, this screen capture from wvgazette.com has a listing of all the people who have filed for divorce between April 8-15 and you will their names listed at the bottom.
I am really upset by this split. I loved seeing Leah and Corey’s realtionship grow througout this season of Teen Mom 2 and I was really rooting for them. I thought they came together so well when their girl needed it the most and its a shame to see them going seperate ways.
For now, we can only speculate about what really happened between the two that led to this decision but I will bet that MTV is going to milk this for all its worth and the divorce will be a heavy storyline for Leah in the next season of Teen Mom 2.

Posted by Sarah feature, Glee, Tori, TV 6:15 PMLet me preface this post by saying that I have loved Glee from its inception. I rarely missed an episode last season (and when I did, I watched it on Hulu as soon as I could). But when Glee introduced The Dalton Academy Warblers, my love for the show grew exponentially. I burst into a fit of giggles and squeals whenever Blaine and his crooners-in-uniform are on screen. Apparently, I’m not the only one. The Warblers, since their introduction on the show in November, have already received their own album (to be released on April 19th!) The album features all of the a capella covers they have performed this season (highlights include Katy Perry’s “Teenage Dream”; Train’s “Hey, Soul Sister”; and Pink’s “Raise Your Glass”) and even some songs that haven’t been seen on the show (yet), such as “Do Ya Think I’m Sexy” by Rod Stewart and “Somewhere Only We Know” by Keane. If you love the Warblers as much as I do and haven’t checked out these two songs yet, I highly recommend giving them a listen! The cover of “Do Ya Think I’m Sexy” answers its own question with a resounding YES and “Somewhere Only We Know” instantly became one of my all-time favorites as soon as I listened to it. The group has become such a hit that there are even rumors of spin-off television show circulating. Although the lead Warbler himself, Darren Criss, says that there are no plans for a Dalton-centered spin-off anytime soon, he guarantees his legions of adoring fans “But if they [Fox Network and Glee creators] want to do it, I'm down! Whatever they want.” Thoughts? Would you like to see the Warblers get a full hour of airtime? Are you planning on getting the album when it drops? Are you as obsessed with these guys as I am?

Our Intern {Shelby} Shares Her Jay Leno Show Experience
Posted by Sarah feature, Shelby, TV 4:59 PMLast week, I went to a taping of The Tonight Show w/Jay Leno, and it was so much fun! We hung out around town for a little while, because we were earlier. We had lunch, drove around, and then just decided to head to NBC Studios. We still had a little while to wait, because it was only like 12:30, and we didn't go in until around 3:00. It was a lot of fun talking to the people around us, and a lady we'd met before at another event was down there, so it was cool catching up with her.
We went in at 3:00, got our tickets, and had to wait a few more minutes before heading inside, but it wasn't too long. We ended up getting really good seats right on the floor, which was awesome! Although, once people sat in front of us, it was a little harder to see. Before the show started they had a couple guys come out to get the crowd pumped; they were telling jokes, bouncing around, and showed us around the website. A few minutes later, Jay himself walked out, to explain how things were going to work. Then asked if anyone had any questions. I hadn't really given it much thought, so I didn't raise my hand. One girl asked if she could get a picture with him, and he was like "oh yeah, sure, c'mon down here! Does someone have a camera?" So, she went up on stage, and sat in the seat, while he pretended to interview her, and someone that worked for him, took the picture. Of course, that caused a chain reaction, and everyone was starting to ask for that. He didn't mind at all, he even went up into the stands to take a picture. He seemed incredibly nice! Now, I know to do that next time I go ;). By that time, he had to go backstage to get ready, but I thought it was really cool that he takes the time out before each show.

Rickey Minor, and The Tonight Show band started off the show, like they do every night, and everyone ran down to shake his hand! For some strange reason, that had always been on my bucket list, because even when I was little I'd see everyone do it, and that it looked fun! So, it was the moment of opportunity, and I took it! I got to shake his hand, and they even showed me on TV later, which was my goal haha, and it was very exciting! Jay went through his monologue, and then got the show started. Matthew Morrison (Glee) and Carrie Underwood were the guests, and two of my favorite people, so I was excited!
Matthew Morrison came out first to talk, and he talked for quite awhile, which was cool. Jay even pulled up this old video of one of Matthew's first film credits, which was hilarious! I think I became an even bigger fan of Matt's while on the show. He seems like a genuine, fun, and nice guy! He just always has this smile on his face, that you can't help but smile, as well. I really love his style and his music! Not too much longer after, Carrie came out, looking beautiful as always! She talked a little about married life, her new movie (Soul Surfer), American Idol, and her killer performance on the ACM's with Steven Tyler (which they also showed a clip from, Carrie was making the same faces as she'd watch it, and then she'd laugh). It's crazy to think about the first time she was on Jay's show, after she won, and how far she's come since then! During the commercial break, she was talking to Jay, and the band started playing Jesus Take The Wheel, trying to get her attention, so she would come over. Finally, the lead singer, walked over with an extra mic, and was like "c'mon Carrie!""Did you put them up to this?," she asked Rickey Minor (who was the band leader on American Idol). I was so glad we got to hear her sing again :) It was funny too, because she kept losing her place, and trying to figure out where she was! They showed us a clip of Soul Surfer, and after that, Matthew headed over to perform his new song "Summer Rain." It was great to see him and Carrie interacting together, I'm hoping he asked her to be on Glee, one of these days! He seemed to be a fan of hers, which was awesome!
I had a harder time seeing Matthew perform, but it was fine! I could hear him singing, and it was so catchy, Carrie was bobbing along as well! haha. The show wrapped after that, but the three of them stayed on the musical guest stage to record a promo for the show that night! A few minutes later, they escorted Jay and Carrie out, and I think Matthew went out another way, because I didn't see him leave. It was such a fun day! It's always so fun getting to see the "behind the scenes" stuff that happens on your favorite shows. It really makes you appreciate all that goes into making a show. There are so many aspects we forget to take into consideration like all the cameras, lighting, sound, the band, queue cards, and just getting the crowd into it, so all the guests and Jay are ready to bring a great show to the table! If you ever get a chance to see a show taping, I say take it, because it's a great experience! :)
Until next time,
Shelby

Twilight and Harry Potter stars engaged!
Posted by Sarah Dominique, feature, Hollywood 10:09 PMThe fictional worlds of vampires and wizards came together this week when Harry Potter’s Bonnie Wright and Twilight’s Jamie Campbell Bower announced they were getting married.
Wright, 20, aka Ginny Weasley, and Bower, 22, otherwise known as Caius of the Volturi, have been dating since 2009, according to MTV, but kept a very low profile with engagement rumors on the horizon for a while now.
"I'm engaged. I'm very happy," Bower told The Daily “It's a wonderful, wonderful time."
So much supernatural at one wedding party. I think it's amazing: two of my favorite books-turned-movies and two young actors in love and matrimony. What could be better? What do you guys think?
