Only two weeks ago on the Teen Mom 2 finale we saw bright eyed Leah Messer walk down the aisle and marry her baby daddy Corey Simms. Well, bright and early today I got a text message from E! News (yes, I receive the latest breaking news via text message) saying that Leah has filed for divorce after only six months of living the married life. Speculation began when two of the major tabloids both published stories about the two heading towards splitsville. Until today nothing had been 100% confirmed, but sadly the rumors are looking to be true and the parents of Aleeah and Aliannah are in fact parting ways.
Leah was spotted reading some type of papers to a friend over the weekend, and of course
MTV was there to catch it all for season 2 of the show. The papers upon closer look seem to be a conversation between Corey and another female.
If a crying Leah who is reading a
sketchy looking conversation between her hubby and some home-wrecking skank isn’t proof enough, this screen capture from wvgazette.com has a listing of all the people who have filed for divorce between April 8-15 and you will their names listed at the bottom.
I am really upset by this split. I loved seeing Leah and Corey’s realtionship grow througout this season of
Teen Mom 2 and I was really rooting for them. I thought they came together so well when their girl needed it the most and its a shame to see them going seperate ways.
For now, we can only
speculate about what really happened between the two that led to this decision but I will bet that MTV is going to milk this for all its worth and the divorce will be a heavy storyline for Leah in the next season of Teen Mom 2.

Mark your calendars- December 21, 2012 is the day when giant rocks will crash down into buildings and you can find Britney and sexy dancers rocking out underground. I can't say I wouldn't enjoy seeing that day come so long as I could be down in the sewers sweating it out with the pop princess. Britney's music video 'Till the World Ends'premiered last night on VEVO and I love it. I enjoyed the 'Hold It Against Me' video enough but 'Till the World Ends' topped it for me. This video reminds me a lot of Britney's 'I'm a Slave For U' video which has always been one of my favorites. Both 'I'm a Slave For U' and 'Till The World Ends' are fun, hot, and sexy! There has been a lot of criticism thrown Britney's way lately regarding her dancing and overall performances. And while I do see the obvious differences from earlier videos until today you have to give the girl a break! She is older, has had 2 kids, had knee surgery, and been through a whole hell of a lot. But even from 'Hold It Against Me' to 'Till The World Ends' I can already see improvement. Her dancing is better, seems more difficult, and she rocks it! I for one, cannot wait to see what else Britney has in store for us!

Ever since 'Hold It Against Me' was released I have been anxiously awaiting Britney's new album 'Femme Fatale'. On top the single, all of the sneak peaks of the tracks that were released sounded amazing for how little of them we could hear. I think to appriciate where Britney is at today we need to take a look back at the path she took to get here.
I still remember hearing Britneys first single 'Baby one more time' coming through my radio. Yes, this was 1999 and instead of just flipping through an ipod or listening to a song on youtube you listened to the radio to hear the newest music. 'oh baby baby how was I supposed to know...' If I only knew then how many times I would listen to that song in my life I would have been amazed. It was an instant hit followed up by "Oops I did it again' and a pop star was born. Britney like many musicians also dabbled in the film industry starring in 'Crossroads' a movie following estranged friends on a cross country road trip. I'm not going to lie, if i look in front of me to my TV stand I can see the Crossroads DVD staring right back at me. You could say that I was and still am a huge Britney fan. And as much as I can remember Britneys rise to fame I can also remember when her life started spirling out of control. I was in high school and some friends and I were so excited to have got our hands on tickets to her Onxy Hotel tour. But as the date came closer Britney got injured and cancelled the rest of her shows including the one we had tickets too. I was so disappointed. Then cue in Kevin Federline and back to back pregnancies and the Britney we once knew was turning into someone different, someone we weren't quite sure what to make of. I was in college in 2008 when Britney really started going downhill. Shaving her head and using umbrellas to attack paparazzi, who was this Britney? Then I heard she was going to be performing at the VMA's with her newest single 'Gimme more'. While that song wasn't as great as previous singles, I was happy to take what I could get considering how her life had been going. I can still remember how I felt when I watched that performance. I was shocked by how much she had changed. The once completely toned and tanned pop queen was looking like she needed to hit the gym and her once gorgeous hair was now terrible looking extensions. I used to go online to watch her videos envying her dance moves, wishing I could move my body the way she did. But the 'Gimme more' VMA performance was anything but enviable. She staggered about lifelessly and it honestly was pretty sad to see how far she had fell from the infamous 'I'm a slave for you' snake performance a few years back on the same VMA stage. By that point I wasn't sure she would ever return to her former glory.
But Britney didn't stop there. She came back strong with her 'Circus' album and tour and the Britney we all fell in love with was slowly working her way back up to the level she had once been at. Now with her seventh album 'Femme Fatale' working its way up the charts its clear that Brit Brit is back and better than ever.
Some of my favorite songs off of the new album are Hold It Against Me ('Cause you feel like paradise and I need a vacation tonight' How can you not love that line?), He About To Lose Me (this is a bonus track which cannot be overlooked), I Wanna Go (I know where this song makes me want to go, dancing) Seal It With A Kiss (what a fun song!), and Criminal (the flute in the beginning hooked me and the lyrics just sealed the deal). Those are just a few I have been playing on repeat but the rest are just as amazing! Its rare when a whole album is great, usually there are the songs that stand out and the ones that blend in, but I can say that every song has something unique to it and I love it.

Jenelle Evans, cast member of MTV's 16 and Pregnant and now current cast member of MTV's Teen Mom 2 just keeps digging herself farther into the ground. We met the North Carolina party girl while she was pregnant with her son Jace on MTV's 16 and pregnant and for some reason I cannot understand MTV asked her to be part of the Teen Mom 2 cast. Jenelle has never done right by her son Jace. From the day he was born her mom, Barbara has been taking care of him. So when Jenelle signed over custody papers to her mom in the beginning of Teen Mom season 2, I wasn't surprised at all. Insert loser boyfriend Kieffer Delp and (if it was possible to get any worse) Jenelle found herself in even more trouble. In the beginning of 2011 Jenelle and Kieffer were arrested on drug possession charges as well as charges of breaking and entering. Soon after she got in trouble due to more breaking and entering, as well as trespassing and making harassing phone calls. The court dates for those two seperate cases are coming up in April but as if that wasnt bad enough Jenelle is now being charged for assult and affray after a video of her beating up a girl named Britany made its way onto the internet. Now let me say I just finished watching the video and it makes me sick. You have Jenelles disgusting friends pushing her into Britany and cheering her on to beat the girl. Even once Britany is on the ground and clearly in no position to fight back her friends egg her on to keep hitting her. As well as the friends who are cheering her on we see other people just lounging on chairs watching this fight happen. How terrible of a person are you if you get some sort of sick pleasure out of watching a girl get beat up? No one tried to stop it, no one tried to help the girl, nope, they wanted it to happen the way that it did. This case is currently being investigated by the Brunswick County Sheriff's Department.
In my opinion Jenelle needs to have some sort of consequences to all of her actions. I feel like she keeps barely getting by and she really isn't learning anything from all that she is doing wrong. And as far as her getting custody of her son back I don't think she deserves that. What sort of mom acts so childish as to beat up a girl on camera and be proud of that. What sort of example does that sent to Jace? And to think we thought that Amber Portwood was a bad mom, shes practically a saint compared to Jenelle.

Well, well the second batch of Teen Mom's that MTV cooked up for us sure didnt disappoint this season. When I first heard that new moms would be invading my TV every tuesday night I wasn't thrilled. I liked the originals, I liked their stories and felt weirdly attached to them as if I really knew them in life. But I'm a sucker for reality TV (especially when it involves people who make worse decisions than myself) so I tuned in and I'm glad that I did. Watching Jenelle, Chelsea, Kailyn, and Leah for the past weeks has been entertaining to say the least. Some episodes I wanted to cry with Leah (Ok, maybe I did cry), shake Chelsea for putting up with her loser bf (now ex) Adam, Hug Kailyn because her whole situation seems so hard, and slap Jenelle for being such an idiot. And it all ended with a bang (maybe thats an inappropriate word to use while writing about teen moms and accidental pregnancies) last night during the finale!
I said a few weeks ago that I was done writing about Chelsea because I just couldn't stand how she was putting Adam before eveyrone else in her life no matter how much of an ass he had been to her. But I was proud of her in this episode. She stood her ground with Adam and didnt let him get the best of her. I do think shes a good mom, you can tell she loves her daughter like crazy. And how adorable was Aubree's birthday cake? Is it possible to be jealous of a one year olds cake? If so, I am.
Kailyn is a teen mom I ended up relating to this season in a few different ways. As Kailyn was breaking up with Jo, I too was going through a breakup. And I too was living with my boyfriend at the time. So when I saw her struggling to figure out where to go from there and how to make changes in her life that were going to be for the best, I knew exactly how she felt. One complaint I do have against her though is that I cannot stand the way her and Jo swear in front of their baby. Kailyn telling Isaac his daddy is an asshole and Jo saying back that no his mom is a bitch is just not okay. They need to watch that back and see how dumb they really look and maybe they can break that bad habit.
Jenelle, ugh, I almost can't even write about her because she sort of disgusts me. In the finale we see that Jenelle (along with loser bf Kiefer) get arrested for breaking and entering. I mean really, how stupid can you be? You knew you werent allowed to be there yet you made yourself right at home. Then to make matters worse Jenelle somehow thinks its a good idea to bail Kiefer out of jail even after telling her mom she wants to start making better choices. I could barely watch that scene because cleary she hasn't changed (TMZ video of her beating on a girl anyone?). If these teen moms come back for another season I think MTV should seriously consider dropping her from the cast.
Leah, my favorite teen mom this season was adorable to watch in the finale. The moment we have all been waiting for, her and Corey finally tied the knot! At a place called Coonskin Park to be exact, with the boys decked out in camoflauge vests. Really that doesn't surprise me in the least and I was surprised how cute the wedding was considering the hick-like circumstances. Leah made a gorgeous bride and she was glowing the whole time which was so sweet to watch. The two seem genuinely happy together and I really hope it lasts.
But the teen mom fun doesn't end there. Next week is the reunion special with Dr.Drew (I cannot wait to hear him dig into Jenelle) and a new season of 16 and Pregnant will be following close behind. And don't forget that the original moms will be back as well this summer with an all new season! Yay for unplanned pregnancies that entertain me to no end!

Jana Kramer is best known for her role of Alex Dupre, the selfish boyfriend stealing model/actress of One Tree Hill. When she came into the show in late 2009 most fans were less than thrilled to have her character stirring up trouble in the small town of Tree Hill. Tree Hill has had its share of villians, Dan Scott, Nikki, psycho Derek, and Nannie Carrie just to name a few. But Jana's storyline really took us for a spin. One second shes trying to jump in bed with Brooke's boyfriend the next she is crying and remoresful. We've seen her at her worst but we've also seen the good side of her, and I think we saw the best side of her when she debued her new single 'Wont Give Up' during an April episode of the show.
I had read online that Jana would be releasing a single and that it would be featured in the show beforehand, but when it comes to actress's turned singers I'm very skeptical. A lot of the time you have an actress who has the money or fame to land herself a single or a record but the quality usually isn't the greatest (Paris Hilton, Kim K, Heidi Montag? Need I go on?) So when Jana picked up the guitar and started the song I was very surprised by what I heard. Now normally when actress's sing they are auto-tuned to the point of not even being able to tell its them singing. The songs are usually upbeat, something you may hear at a club. Jana's single could not be any more different. 'Won't Give Up' is a slow country ballad with great vocals. Yes, you read that correctly, a country ballad. That's one I don't think Ive seen any actress's attempt before. But she pulled it off wonderfully. And hey, I can actually recognize her voice!
With that all being said it is definetly worth a listen (or ten or fifty). So even all you Alex hating One Tree Hill fans should push your hard feelings towards her character aside and give it a chance because I hope like myself you will be pleasently surprised and have a song that you will be playing just as much as you play your One Tree Hill DVD's!
