Eat Pray Love
Posted by Sarah Anne, Movie 11:23 AMSo, now that you have seen the commercial for Eat Pray Love
about a million times you are sure to be wondering what that catchy tune is you keep humming from the trailer. The song you are hearing (and I am obsessed with) comes from the band Florence + the Machine and the song is called "the Dog Days are Over." Watch it here from Youtube or add it to your iTunes playlist so you can jam out to it in the car, while jogging, or maybe while you are eating, praying, or loving. Catch the movie when it comes out this Friday only in theaters!

Upcoming movie: Going the Distance
Posted by Sarah Anne, Movies 11:10 AMSoon-to-be in theaters movie, Going the Distance combines the very talented Drew Barrymore and funny-man Justin Long in a fun, romantic comedy about what happens during a long-distance relationship.
This movie is unique in that there are very few movies on the topic of long-distance relationships, probably because they aren’t always fun or funny and are usually a lot of hard work. I also don’t know if I could see Drew and Justin having a lot of on screen chemistry, but I could be wrong. I think it might turn out to be a really funny movie, especially with Christina Applegate and comedian Jim Gaffigan playing supporting roles. What do you guys think?

Ask Annie: Fighting With Friends

what do you do when your in a fight with your best friend see we got in a fight last month and she called me a really mean name so i called her an even meaner name and then we made up and got in a fight again it seems we get in a fight and then we make up right after we make up we get in a fight again how can i stop fighting with her????
It sounds to me like you and your best friend are going through a stage that a lot of young girls go through with their good friends while growing up together.
What you need to do is work on talking things out with you friend so you can avoid getting into big fights all the time. If you take the time to sit down with her (or call her up on the phone, email, IM, whatever), and explain your side of the situation (and ask her for her side as well), the two of you can better understand each others’ perspective. Once you both are on the same page, you can come to an understanding, start compromising and even avoid the fight all together.
It is easy to fight with your friends, especially those you are closest with, but by taking the time to understand each other and be open to compromise, you will notice these fights will occur less frequently. I know it can be awkward to bring up a fight to a friend, but once you get past that you will find your relationships will be better off in the end. Good luck!

Why is my ex gf trying to turn my best friend against me?
ok its kinda long.. so me and my gf were best friends first and there was this other girl lets call her (M) so all three of us were friends but both of them liked me.. so (M) found out i liked the other girl lets call her(C) and she got mad.. so me and (C) liked each other and (m) left.. next year me and (C) started going out each our first love by the way(m) and (C) hate each other and i hated (m) too then me and (m) started talking again and became best friends and (C) was mad then me and (C) broke up because of rumors but later got back together in like 2 days then right before our anniversary she dumped me.. now she says shes found her perfect match and blah blah blah.. then (M) adds (c) on myspace and they start talking (m) gets mad because (c) starts telling her lies that i called (m) a ***** and stuff.. so then i start talking to (m) and she says shes on my side again so really my question is why did my ex gf do that

WOW that is pretty confusing, haha. But I think I may be able to break it down for you. Let’s call (M) Mary, and (C) Cassie.
Mary liked you first, so when you rejected her as a gf because you had feelings for Cassie, this was a serious blow to her ego and the trust you guys had formed as best friends. When you made things official with Cassie, it made her feel even worse and she probably began to feel a lot of anger toward both you and Cassie.
There was probably some kind of conflict between the 3 of you which caused you and Cassie to no longer like Mary. However, when you patched things up with Mary, Cassie began to feel threatened since she knew Mary had at one time liked you more than a friend and she may have felt betrayed that you were talking to her again. When she broke up with you, she was probably angry and jealous of the newly reformed friendship between you and Mary which could have made her want to make you jealous and tell you she was no longer interested in you now that she has a new guy in her life (“perfect match”).
The fact that Mary friended Cassie on Myspace sounds a bit manipulative seeing as the two did not get along before you and Cassie broke up. Cassie clearly wanted to hurt both you and Mary by telling Mary the bad things you had said (or didn’t say) about her, probably because she is jealous of the reformed friendship between you and Mary.
What I am getting at is there is a lot of jealously going on here and if you want to clear things up with Cassie (seeing as Mary is now on your side again), you should try and talk to her in a calm, mature way. Maybe call her up and ask her, if she no longer cares about you or your relationship, why go to the effort of telling Mary things that would hurt both you and her? If you still have feelings for Cassie, you should tell her so and maybe the two of you can come to some form of arrangement so that you can still remain friends with Mary, but continue dating Cassie. If she seems reluctant to work things out then cut your loses and walk away from the situation with your heart still in tact and Mary as your friend.

what hairstyle should i get i have long hair down to my hip i am 5'2 but but i do not want shorts har i want to know what long hairstyle i should get
Dear Anonymous,
However, since you did tell me you are on the shorter side, I must tell you that having a very long hair style without structure/shape will only weigh you down and make you appear shorter.
Since I know you want to keep the length, I will suggest a Vanessa Hudgens style that works for a lot of face shapes and hair types:
Ignoring the fact that she has product in her hair and a stylist making it look perfect, the idea is still the same. What you want to do is create depth by adding layers throughout your long hair and angles at different sections of your mane; lots of short pieces will give it a nice shape. Talk to your hair dresser about possible looks and you can find one that works best for your hair and face shape.
Hope this helps!

Dear Anonymous,
This is a difficult question to answer because I do not know these two things: (1) your face shape (oval, heart, square, round…etc) and (2) the type of hair you have (thick, thin, curly, straight…etc).

What to do when you think your boyfriend is cheating on you?
what do i do i think my boyfriend is cheating on me because his friend tells me that he could and even his cousin tells me he could i could believe them because they know him more then i do but they could be telling me that to make me break up with him because his friend wants to go out with me and even his cousin and they say he could be going out with a girl from his myspace oh and me and my boyfriend have been going out for almost 2 months and we don't see each other. My boyfriend lives by girls from his myspace. I don't know what to do his friend and cousin tell me to break up with him but i really love him. On my myspace i can't have lots of boys on my myspace because my boyfriend gets jellies and i erased some of my friends that are boys so he would be happy with me but what i don't like that he gets more girls on his myspace.

Dear Brianna,
It sounds to me like you have a controlling, insecure boyfriend on your hands. How do I know this? Because I dated one for many years myself. It starts with him trying to make you feel bad for having other friends who are guys and he convinces you to delete them off your page (and from your life), but it will only get worse from there. If he trusted and respected you, he would not have a problem with who you are friends with on an online website. I also find it interesting that he won’t allow you to have guy friends on myspace, but he is allowing himself plenty of female friends; this is a sign of a control freak! Soon (if not already) he will be telling you what to wear, which friends of yours he likes/doesn’t like, why you can’t hang out with them and you will find yourself feeling isolated and trapped with no way out.
As for the cheating aspect, it sounds a bit fishy to me that his “friend” not only wants to date you, but is telling you that your boyfriend could be cheating on you. It could either be a ruse for you to break up with your boyfriend and date him, or he could be telling the truth; my guess is the former. Either way, you never see your boyfriend, clearly you don’t trust him and apparently he doesn’t trust you… so you have to ask yourself: what is the point of continuing this relationship?
