Amy Adams will be Lois Lane!

MTVNews reports that The Fighter’s Amy Adams will be playing the illustrious Lois Lane in Zack Snyder’s Superman remake. The Oscar nominated actress will star opposite The Tudors actor Henry Cavill who will be donning the red cape and portraying the iconic Clark Kent.
Snyder released a statement about the choice stating “Second only to Superman himself, the question of who will play Lois Lane is arguably what fans have been most curious about. So we are excited to announce the casting of Amy Adams, one of the most versatile and respected actresses in films today. Amy has the talent to capture all of the qualities we love about Lois: smart, tough, funny, warm, ambitious and, of course, beautiful."
Snyder’s most recent release Sucker Punch, about a group of young women trying to escape a mental institution, thrust into alternate realities along the way, opened this weekend with $19 million, just behind Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules which came in first with $24.4 million, reported Entertainment Weekly.
