Braids - Fashionable in so many ways

Braids are the summer rage.  Everyone wears them, and if they don’t wear them, they want them! Here are five braid styles that will make others stop and stare when you enter the room.

The fishtail braid is one of the most popular braids seen around this summer.  It is a beautiful braid that is made into a ponytail.  It’s a great, easy braid if you want a beautiful look for a casual day.  Love the fishtail braid?  Try it with a bohemian outfit.  You will look so awesome, everyone will want to know how you did it.

A popular choice, the LC braid is also known as the headband braid. Why go out and spend the money on a headband when you can make one out of the hair that you have?  The headband braid is a classic look that can be worn to a major event or to a party with friends.

Braided pigtails can be made from a basic braid or a French braid depending on your preference.  This braid is highly recommended if you are in a hurry and need a quick, cute hairstyle.  While they can be worn at fancy events, braided pigtails are more of a casual hairstyle that can be worn on a daily basis. They are definitely a favorite and won’t be going anywhere anytime soon.

Going to a major event? Do you want to look different from all the other women there with their straight hair or curly locks?  The halo braid is a fabulous alternative for a basic updo.  It works really great with long hair, but if your hair isn’t long enough don’t be afraid to use a braided headband.  The halo braid is truly unique and stunning.  Everyone can rock it, and you will be the main attraction at the party, completely unnaturally.

The side ponytail braid is really cute to wear to the beach or when the weather is heating up .  Just pull all of your hair to the side and braid down.  It doesn’t need to be in a french braid, just a normal quick braid.  It looks best if it doesn’t look like you worked too hard at it.  Keep it casual and fun.  This braid allows you to have a cute hairstyle with minimum fuss.

There are many other types of braids that can be done, and that are just as cute as these five.  Don’t be afraid to experiment with your hair.  You never know how cute a simple braid can look on you!
