graffiti

We always see graffiti as negative gang tags right? You never really see cool graffiti except for Europe mostly. A couple years ago I got the opportunity to travel to France, Spain, and Italy and I saw the most BEAUTIFUL graffiti! It was all about peace and love and who doesn't love peace and love? The graffiti in those countries is considered art and it is a crime to cover it up with paint. There is no wonder why everyone rebels with negative graffiti in the States.
On the Huffington Post an article was posted on positive graffiti. It is graffiti like that that makes you enjoy the world and people so much more. Graffiti is an art, just like writing is an art. People express their feelings through graffiti like I express my feelings through literature. Should we burn our works of art like authorities paint over graffiti? I know burning books is a bit extreme, but you get the picture. Any work of art should be appreciated, not covered up.

Wyclef Jean
2:57 PM
On August 5th, Wyclef Jean announced that he was going to run for President of Haiti in the November 28 election. That is so awesome that a world-famous hip-hop artist is so concerned with his home country to run for President! Everyone loves their home, but that is true patriotism if I do say so myself.
Jean's music is bumpin' too. Whenever one of his songs comes on the radio or my iPod I turn it up, roll the windows down, and dance like crazy. I know many people love the song "Sweetest Girl" and one of my favorites "Perfect Gentleman".
Since the disaster in Haiti tons of people have put their best foot forward, helping out the destroyed country. Still those unfortunate people need all the help they can get. Jean has all this hidden power and intelligence which I feel will shine through if/when he becomes President.

Gay Marriage
3:00 PM
Just recently I learned about gay marriage. I was never against it, I just had no idea what the big deal was. Since the big commotion with Prop. 8 I started to learn more about the big deal. Gay people are getting mistreated like no other in America; they do not have the same rights as any other American and that is unconstitutional. I am fully supporting gay marriage in America because I believe in equal rights and I believe that every person in the world should be happy. If liking the same sex makes people happy then more power to them! Many people in the U.S. are gay, two of my closets friends are gay. Gay people are no different than straight people. They have the same sense of humor, they look the same, they talk the same, they drive cars, and they have parents. They have all the same qualities as a straight person. So why do they not have the same rights? You tell me.
