Kristen Bell wants a Veronica Mars Movie (or at least a webseries)

According to SlashFilm, Kristen Bell has been tweeting lately about how badly she wishes the Veronica Mars (a cancelled CW TV series about a teenage girl solving mysteries--trust me, it's about a million times better than how it sounds) would be made into a movie.
The only problem is, Warner Bros. refuses to finance the movie because they don't think it'll make any money.
Bell says, "At this point, Warner Bros. can make it but like any studio they have research that tells them whether or not they’ll make their money back…And that’s what we’ve been told: That it’s just not there. So my duty, because I wanted this movie made from the minute our show got canceled, is to a) do it before I’m 40; and b) to prove to Warner Bros. that there is an audience. You already have 3 million who watched it every week hardcore fans that will see it — you can only build from there."
She also says that her and many of the cast members would be willing to do a web series to wrap up the series(it would be cheaper), but they would still prefer to do a movie. It's unclear as to whether Warner Bros. would even be willing to do that much.
