Thoughts on RuPaul's Drag U

Anyone else watching RuPaul's Drag U on Logo? A spinoff of the competition show RuPaul's Drag Race (a guilty pleasure of mine), it features former drag contestants taking dowdy-looking women and making them look like drag queens.
I'm currently torn on whether I like this show. On the one hand, the drag transformations are pretty amazing (in some cases, even more amazing than the actual male-to-female ones). I also get a chance to see more of my favorite contestants. I have to wonder what happens to the women after going on this show. Sure, they might see that they can be beautiful (depending on how beautiful you think caked on makeup and polyester can be), but are they really learning anything? What do they do with this new ego boost?
Either way, I definitely recommend checking it out: it's certainly one of the more interesting reality shows currently on tv.
