Graffiti

We always see graffiti as negative gang tags right? You never really see cool graffiti except for Europe mostly. A couple years ago I got the opportunity to travel to France, Spain, and Italy and I saw the most BEAUTIFUL graffiti! It was all about peace and love and who doesn't love peace and love? The graffiti in those countries is considered art and it is a crime to cover it up with paint. There is no wonder why everyone rebels with negative graffiti in the States.
On the Huffington Post an article was posted on positive graffiti. It is graffiti like that that makes you enjoy the world and people so much more. Graffiti is an art, just like writing is an art. People express their feelings through graffiti like I express my feelings through literature. Should we burn our works of art like authorities paint over graffiti? I know burning books is a bit extreme, but you get the picture. Any work of art should be appreciated, not covered up.
