Dear Heidi and Spencer,

The two of you have been separated for months now. Congratulations! However, I am still confused as to why the two of you -- no longer a couple -- make the news day after day. Generally, when two people who are married decided to split up and get a divorce, they go their own separate ways. You two, unfortunately for the American public, can't seem to actually severe ties. Every day, I hear stories of Heidi sulking in her new place by herself. And every day, I hear stories of Spencer plotting evil and twisted ways to get back at Heidi. Although it seems like the two of you have physically put yourself a part, it seems like you both are very much still in spirit -- the Speidi spirit. You know, the one where the two of you will do anything to get attention from the press. Even in your separated lives, the two of you still go back to doing the one thing you're famous for -- being in the spotlight. When is enough going to be enough?

Looks like the two of you will be getting divorced (officially -- according to the courts) on February 14th, 2011 -- Valentine's Day. Way to go out with a bang, I'm sure you'll enjoy your publicity until then. But I'm asking, when Valentine's Day comes around next year, can that be it? Can us, the people of America, get a divorce from the two of you?

I'm wondering what classes I should try to get out of the way my freshman year, so I don't have to worry about them during my later years of college.

Hi Amy,

I recommend that you take whatever classes you don't want to take and get them over with. For example, if you hate math -- get your math requirements out of the way your freshman year, so you don't have to worry about them the last three years. You may hate your first semester of college because you spend more time in the tutoring center working on math problems, but at least you will get it done and over with.

Also, I would recommend getting ahead in any foreign language requirements. Colleges and universities are becoming more and more stringent when it comes to foreign language requirements, so you don't want to let them sneak up on you before it's too late (doing so would mean that you would have to take summer school classes or possibly go for another year!). If you have experience in a certain language, make sure all your AP test scores or placement tests are submitted because that can save you a lot of time when it comes to scheduling.

And last but not least, definitely take your PE requirements as soon as possible. I didn't take mine until my junior and senior years, and I didn't really have time for them in my schedule, so they caused a lot of stress. PE classes should be easy and fun, and you should look forward to going to them -- so get them out of the way, and you won't have to stress about them later.

Despite Christina Aguilera's new album, Bionic, which was released in June, not receiving much critical acclaim or commercial success -- the girl is still incredibly talented and successful. Although her hits of the past such as "Dirrty," "Ain't No Other Man," and "What A Girl Wants" seem like a different era in pop music, one thing has remained the same: Christina's incredible vocal chords.

Let's face it -- pop music isn't what it was like during the late '90s and early 2000's during Christina's "Genie in A Bottle" days. With more hip hop and dance music dominating the charts, it's no wonder that Christina's new music is going unnoticed because it does not resolve itself to one specific genre. Although her first single "Not Myself Tonight" from Bionic has a dance-feel to it, the shocking song appeared to be too similar to other shock and awe performers such as Lady Gaga, making people raise eyebrows at Christina's new musical authenticity.

However, if anyone needs proof that Christina still has incredible talent -- they should look no further than her new single, "You Lost Me." A slow ballad strips Christina's Hollywood glam and theatrics down to a raw confessional experience. While nothing sounds like this on the radio today, the song is infectious and pristine -- similar to previous Christina ballads such as "Beautiful."

Although the world may be singing along with Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga, and other pop stars, it doesn't mean we should abandon the ones that paved the road for today's new artists. Want proof that Christina Aguilera still has it? Take a listen to "You Lost Me" and hear it for yourself.

Ready or not, here they come – except this time, JWoww, The Situation, Angelina, Snooki, Pauly D, Ronnie, Sammi, and Vinny will be leaving their coveted New Jersey shoreline for a more tropical location: Miami Beach, Florida! In a recent New York Times article specifically about The Jersey Shore’s most popular roommate Snooki, a professor of television and pop culture from Syracuse University said the reason people watch this show and anticipate the second season is because “Everything about this show is super-sized – from the over-the-top hair to the over-the-top nature of the comments.”
