Congrats Ali and Roberto!

If you watched Monday night's finale of the Bachelorette or you checked Yahoo at any point after 10 pm Monday night, then you probably know who Ali chose. Whether you are a huge fan of the Bachelorette, or have been to a supermarket in the last month, you know that Ali had a tough decision between "two great guys" as she repeated numerous times in Monday nights episode. But really, couldn't we all tell that Roberto was going to be the one? Not only did she repeat many times to her parents that Chris and her relationship started off as friends and continued to move slowly, but the look in her eyes when Roberto was just sitting next to her screamed "I am throughly dreading tomorrows date because it won't be with you". At one point Ali even stated something along the lines of "I'm not ready to leave Roberto" that wasn't long before she told America that Roberto was it. From there it went all downhill for Chris - as if he didn't know. Chris wasn't given the chance to prove himself to Ali one last time. I do have to say it was very classy of Ali to let Chris go sooner and not make him suffer through proposing. After Chris left he was able to walk outside in the bright sunshine with no rain and see a perfectly clear rainbow. Probably one of the best scenes of the whole season - it was clear that that was Chris's Mom looking down and letting him know it would be okay. After the tearjerker of saying goodbye to Chris (who I'm sure is getting many new women Facebook friends), it was time to see if Roberto was really feeling the same about Ali. ABC did a good job of making it seem like maybe Roberto wasn't going to propose, but as all us smart Americans knew (or at least people that have watched the show season after season) this wasn't going to end badly for Ali. Roberto went along and bought the perfect ring, that everyone women in America wished she owned. He then went to Ali, and with pure excitement the exchanged how much they loved each other, and Roberto put the rock on Ali's finger. From there it was a bunch of I love you's in various languages, and huge smiles on everyone's faces. America had to wipe their tears quickly and start to smile for the newly engaged Mr. and Mrs. Martinez.
On After the Final Rose, many things were cleared up. Ali and Chris are on good terms, Frank never showed up, and Ali and Roberto are moving out to San Diego. They are thinking about marrying next summer but as Ali put it "he keeps saying 'don't you think the weather is nicer in the spring' ". Roberto is definitely eager to marry Ali, and for once I can say I really see this marriage happening. There has only been one Bachelor/ette couple that haven't gotten married, but Ali and Roberto seem very much in love. I don't see them breaking up or divorcing anytime soon - which stinks for every other women in America!
So at the end of the day Roberto will always be a stunner, and Ali made a smart move capturing him and not letting any other women get him. I can say that even though I was wishy-washy all season about Roberto being to good to be true, Ali gave it a shot and made one of the best decisions I have seen someone make in a long time.
What do you think? Did Ali make the right choice?
