Mila Kunis to star in "Oz, the Great and Powerful"

Black Swan star Mila Kunis is about to tackle her next big role in Oz, the Great and Powerful, according to Entertainment Weekly. Abandoning ballet, Kunis will star alongside 127 Hours actor James Franco as Theodora, one of three witch sisters fighting against Franco, a conniving oil salesman, for a monopoly over Oz, in this Disney Wizard of Oz prequel. Variety reports that Kunis begins as a good witch but turns sour over the course of the film. Sam Raimi of Spiderman fame will direct the film in pre-production. Kunis and Franco have tag teamed roles before, appearing in Date Night for a cameo and in a Funny or Die spoof of MTV’s The Hills. Both actors have films set to be released later this year. Kunis will star in Friends with Benefits alongside Justin Timberlake which will be released this July, and Franco’s next film Your Highness, with Kunis's Black Swan co-star Natalie Portman, will be released next month.
I love the actors together, and having seen Wicked (and loving it) I’m a little excited to see what Disney will come up with.
