Spring 2011 Style Alert: High-waist shorts

Everyone is starting to feel it more and more and the best way for me to get over my winter blues is by getting excited for spring. Yesterday in the mail I got an Express mini-catalogue and I cannot wait to go spring shopping! The one thing that really stood out to me was this pair of high-waist shorts with buttons going up the front. They are so chic yet if paired with a plain solid top, would be so casual and comfortable.
These will not only make your legs look longer, but they will make your waist look that much smaller as well since they hit the waist at the place where pants SHOULD be. Express has a lot of different style shorts. Goodbye high-waist skirts, hello shorts? It is definitely a trend to be looking out for this upcoming season.
